Your event at the Eggerhaus
A central location, good facilities and rooms that can be combined: the Eggerhaus and the Eggerstadl are a setting for public events – music evenings, readings, presentations, seminars, workshops or children's afternoons. To a limited extent the rooms are also available for private occasions such as birthdays, weddings or company parties.

Rent depends on rooms and effort – fixed at the viewing. Reservation with a € 300 fee that becomes the deposit.
How a booking works

The Eggerhaus is first and foremost a museum: only a limited number of external events is possible per year – so please ask early.
The Eggerstadl
Depending on the seating, the Eggerstadl holds up to 100 people. The historic hand-hewn timber beams give it its rustic character. Beer-tent benches and tables are provided; chairs and round tables are available on request for an extra charge. The adjoining kitchenette has a commercial dishwasher, two large fridges and some further kitchen equipment.
Event hall
The event hall in the old house seats 80 people theatre-style or 50 to 60 at banquet or restaurant tables. Tables and chairs are provided, plus a glass washer and a fridge.
Historic entrance hall
The vaulted entrance hall connects directly to the event hall and has room for guests, a buffet, information stands or a small exhibition.
The meadow
The meadow in front of the house adds outdoor space: for a drinks reception at standing tables, an outdoor wedding ceremony, children's games and more.
Reservation, prices, cancellation
A word first
The Eggerhaus is a museum – and it is meant to be full of life. The association welcomes every guest in the house and the barn. Admission and rental income cover running costs (insurance, electricity, water, repairs) and investment in the house and its furnishings. Maintenance, care and the support of your event are done by volunteers. That sets the framework.
Reservation
Your enquiry – by form or e-mail – is non-binding. We get back to you, check the date and show you the house and barn; at the viewing we fix the rent. The date is only confirmed once we have replied and the € 300 reservation fee has reached the association's account. For that, please return the signed terms (scan or photo to kontakt@eggerhaus.at).
Cancellation up to six weeks before the date (e-mail or phone): the fee is refunded minus € 100 handling. After that it is forfeited.
Prices, payment and deposit
The rent depends on rooms, preparation time and extra services and must be paid in full at least six weeks before the event – otherwise the date and the reservation fee are forfeited. The reservation fee is not part of the rent: with the booking it becomes the deposit and is refunded after the event has gone smoothly.
Practical information
- Own car park directly opposite on the other side of Hatschekstraße, more parking about a 10-minute walk away.
- Vehicle access for deliveries and catering right up to the entrance of house and barn.
- For more elaborate food service we recommend a catering company from the region.
