Accessibility statement
This statement applies to www.eggerhaus.at. It was last updated on 6 October 2026.
The Kulturverein Eggerhaus wants its website to be as accessible as possible, so that everyone – whatever their physical or technical circumstances – can easily find information about the Eggerhaus, its history, events and offers.
What we do
- clear page structure with meaningful headings and a skip link to the content
- simple navigation that works fully with the keyboard, with visible focus
- sufficient colour contrast and readable font sizes; text can be enlarged to 200 %
- alternative text for meaningful images
- labelled form fields with clear error messages
- restrained animation; the operating system's “reduce motion” setting is respected
- no content that relies only on colour, sound or motion
- subtitles (German and English), chapters and a transcript for both films
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Not yet fully accessible:
- older PDF and Word downloads (membership form, rental terms); their content is also available as text on the Membership and Venue hire pages
- some historic images whose descriptions are still being completed
