About the event
Baking in the historic wood-fired oven of the Eggerhaus becomes a special experience for small groups of visitors of a maximum of 12 people.
You can experience firsthand how traditional bread is made and chat with the baker and his stoker.
While the bread bakes to a golden brown in the oven, you will discover the history and special features of the house during a guided tour.
Afterwards, we invite you to the cozy historic parlor for a hearty snack. There, we will show a film about the rescue and revitalization of the Eggerhaus.
When the scent of fresh bread wafts through the house, the moment has finally arrived: the finished bread is taken out of the oven – and every visitor receives half a loaf of crispy Eggerhaus bread as a souvenir to take home.
