OUR TEAM

The team at the Eggerhaus Cultural Association works with great passion to keep regional culture and history alive. Their focus is on the four core tasks of a vibrant cultural center: collecting, preserving and developing regional culture, history and craftsmanship, researching, and communicating.

As the operator of the Eggerhaus, the association organizes exhibitions, cultural events, workshops and encounters that connect tradition and the present.

The aim is to convey historical knowledge in a lively way, to sustainably secure the region's cultural heritage, and to create an open space for exchange, creativity, and shared experiences.

The history of the Eggerhaus and its cultural mission

OUR STORY

The Eggerhaus is one of the region's most distinctive historic farmhouses and exemplifies the rural building and lifestyle of past centuries. Built as a traditional four-sided farmstead, it combined living, working, and storage under one roof and was the center of an agricultural operation.

Over generations, the property was carefully expanded and adapted to new requirements without losing its original character. After the end of active farming, the building was preserved as a culturally and historically valuable monument.

Today, the Eggerhaus serves as a cultural and event venue, bringing history, craftsmanship and rural everyday culture to life for visitors.
