THE TROADKASTEN

ABOUT THE TROADKASTEN

The granary is a traditional grain storage building that played a central role in rural life. Built away from the main house, it served to safely store grain, foodstuffs, and other valuable supplies. This spatial separation effectively protected the stored goods from fire, moisture, and pests. Today, the granary offers vivid insights into historical building methods and the lifestyles and economic practices of past generations.
